Make us your homepage

To make the Times West Virginian the first site you see when you open your Web browser, follow the simple instructions in the table below! Just select your type of browser on the left and follow the simple steps on the right.



If you're not sure of your browser version, click on HELP at the top of your browser, and select either "About Internet Explorer" or "About Communicator/Navigator."

Internet Explorer

Version 5.0-6.0 1. At the top of your browser window, click on TOOLS & select INTERNET OPTIONS.

2. Click on the GENERAL tab.

3. Under HOME PAGE, next to ADDRESS, type: http://www.timeswv.com

4. Click OK.

5. Your homepage is now http://www.timeswv.com.

Version 4.5 (MAC) 1. At the top of your browser window, click on EDIT & select PREFERENCES.

2. Click on the HOME/SEARCH tab.

3. Next to ADDRESS, type: http://www.timeswv.com

4. Click OK.

5. Your homepage is now http://www.timeswv.com.

Version 4.0 1. From the top of the page, select VIEW, then INTERNET OPTIONS.

2. Click on the GENERAL tab.

3. Under HOME PAGE, next to ADDRESS, type: http://www.timeswv.com

4. Click OK.

5. Your homepage is now http://www.timeswv.com.

Version 3.0 1. At the top of your browser window, click on EDIT & select OPTIONS.

2. Click on the NAVIGATION tab.

3. Beside PAGE, select START PAGE.

4. Next to ADDRESS, type: http://www.timeswv.com

5. Click OK.

6. Your homepage is now http://www.timeswv.com.

Netscape

Version 4.0-6.0 1. At the top of your browser window, click on EDIT & select PREFERENCES.

2. Highlight NAVIGATOR in the "Category" listings on the right.

3. Under NAVIGATOR STARTS WITH, select HOME PAGE.

4. Below HOME PAGE, next to LOCATION, type: http://www.timeswv.com

5. Click OK.

6. Your homepage is now http://www.timeswv.com.

Version 3.0 1. At the top of your browser window, click on OPTIONS & select GENERAL PREFERENCES.

2. Click on the APPEARANCE tab.

3. Under STARTUP, click on HOME PAGE LOCATION.

4. Below HOME PAGE LOCATION, type: http://www.timeswv.com

5. Click OK.

6. Your homepage is now http://www.timeswv.com.

America Online

All versions 1. At the top of your AOL window, click on MY AOL & select PREFERENCES.

(Older versions, click on MEMBERS & select PREFERENCES.)

2. Click on the "WWW" icon.

3. Under HOME PAGE, next to ADDRESS, type: http://www.timeswv.com

4. Click OK.
