Bob Coffman took a basic coleslaw recipe from a classic Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and made it his own by leaving some ingredients out and adding others. His family (wife Sharyn, and kids Cindy, Brian and Chris) likes it, so he makes it all the time. He makes it the old-school way: chopping the vegetables himself rather than buying coleslaw kits.
