WHITE HALL — nTelos Wireless is offering savings on the latest products and services at its new home in White Hall.

After being located inside the Middletown Mall for about 10 years, the business basically moved across the street into the new shopping plaza beside Bob Evans, at 9640 Mall Loop Road. nTelos Wireless officially opened there on Feb. 21 and recently held a grand opening celebration, said Rob Cale, vice president of marketing for the company.

While at the mall, this corporate retail store, which is owned and operated by nTelos Wireless, had gotten to the point where it needed a larger space, he said. The company also wanted to be more visible in the community and more accessible for customers.

The new location is fulfilling those needs, as the store is already generating a 25 to 30 percent increase in traffic compared to its previous home, Cale said.

“We’re excited about the new store,” he said. “It’s doing very well.”

The brand new space also allows nTelos Wireless to showcase its new store design.

“The store design is bright and very user friendly and we think really enhances the customer experience for wireless,” Cale said.

He explained that every new store that nTelos Wireless builds features the updated design, with its white and blue colors, and the company has retrofitted older locations as well.

At the store in White Hall, for example, customers will find live phone bars, which are easy to maneuver around so they can try out the different devices and make a call or send a text, Cale said. The shop also showcases nTelos Wireless’ relationship with iPhone and has a dedicated area for that merchandise.

Five employees run the shop seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The closest nTelos store is a retailer on Fairmont Avenue that represents the brand, and corporate locations are also stationed in Morgantown, Clarksburg and Bridgeport, Cale said.

In addition to offering phone service, the company carries all the related accessories, such as phone cases, car chargers, batteries and more, he said. It also deals with mobile internet solutions, such as data sticks and MiFi units.

Cale said nTelos Wireless focuses on great prices, excellent customer service and access to the latest devices, like iPhone. Compared to other wireless carriers, the difference with nTelos is the savings provided to customers, he said.

nTelos strives to keep up with the latest happenings in the industry.

“We’ve always got new devices coming onto the product family,” he said. “We’ve always got new services.”

During 2013, the company will launch 4G LTE services in select markets in West Virginia and Virginia.

“We continue to expand and invest in our network,” Cale said. “Coverage is, of course, very important.”
