“The Teaming to Win conference is all about developing business relationships,” said Morris Morrison, a Fairmont native, motivational speaker and entrepreneur.
Morrison was the guest of honor during breakfast Wednesday morning at the Teaming to Win conference in Morgantown. The 23rd annual event, held at the West Virginia University Erickson Alumni Center this year, started Tuesday and continued throughout Wednesday.
Teaming to Win, a nonprofit group, got started through an initiative of former Congressman Alan B. Mollohan to promote small businesses. The conference was created as a way to bring small businesses together to work with each other to pursue contracts and team up with federal anchors, and to allow participants to network and talk about the capabilities of their companies.
