FSU football plans changes for 2013

FAIRMONT — In addition to the 2013 season being the first for Coach Jason Woodman and the newly formed Mountain East Conference, Fighting Falcons fans will notice other enhancements to their game day experience.

Fans attending home games this season will be greeted by a new ticket tent at the main entrance of Duvall-Rosier Field. The FSU Department of Athletics will have Fighting Falcons merchandise available for sale at the tent. A new concession stand is being added at the top of the bleachers for easier customer access to snacks and drinks. The FSU Department of Athletics will offer a shuttle service from the campus parking lots to the field on game day.

“The Department of Athletics is always looking for new ways to add to the fan experience and family friendly atmosphere of our home football games at Duvall-Rosier Field,” said Athletic Director Tim McNeely. “We are thankful for the community support our student-athletes have received over the years and look forward to the beginning of an exciting new year for Fighting Falcons Athletics.”

Reserved season tickets and parking are now on sale for the six home games this season. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.fightingfalcons .com and downloading and mailing in an application.
