League-leading Glenville State wiped out a three-point deficit in the final 30 seconds and rallied to top visiting Fairmont State, 85-84, Monday night in Glenville.
Trailing by one with nine seconds left, GSC’s Ginny Mills stole a pass from Kaitlin Snyder and drove in for the game-winning layup with 6.2 seconds remaining.
Glenville then stole the ball again from FSU to seal the win.
Glenville, which improved to 15-2 overall and to 10-1 in the WVIAC, was led by Kenyell Goodson, who finished with 19 points.
The Lady Falcons, who fell to 11-5 overall and to 9-3 in the league, got 23 points from Hailey Garrett and 22 from Hallie Gunnoe.
