FAIRMONT — The Fairmont State men’s basketball team travels to West Virginia State today in hopes of adding a win to its 15-5 record.

The Falcons are ranked second in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) under West Liberty.

FSU has had a tremendous season so far, and 6-9 senior forward Isaiah Hill has helped the Falcons soar.

Out of team’s 20 games, Hill has led the Falcons in rebounds in 10 games. Hill has started every game this season and is averaging 14 points per contest.

Head coach Jerrod Calhoun said Hill’s role on the team is to score.

“At 6-9, for him to be able to step out and shoot threes, you don’t see that a whole lot,” he said. “He’s very, very skilled. He’s done a terrific job for us all year.”
