FSU unveils plan for future of Joe Retton Arena
Fairmont State University allowed its donors to see where their money has been going Saturday and introduced a plan for a future project.
The university, which just finished up renovations on the facilities at Joe Retton Arena, is planning an estimated $1.5 million project to put in new flooring along with new seats in the arena.

When Fairmont State’s men’s basketball team opens conference play today at Joe Retton Arena at 4 p.m., coach Jerrod Calhoun is asking for a “white out.”
While the first 500 fans to the arena will receive a free T-shirt, all fans are encouraged to wear their white when the Falcons take on West Virginia Wesleyan in the team’s first conference game.
FSU advances to MEC final with resounding win over Charleston
Fairmont State University’s volleyball team advanced to the final of the Mountain East Conference Tournament after defeating Charleston, 3-1, in the first semifinal on Friday evening at the McDonough Center.
