Fairmont man pleads guilty to sexual abuse, assault and incest

— A 60-year-old man pleaded guilty to a 24-count indictment in Marion County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon.
James A. White, of 1111 Conaway St., Fairmont, will be sentenced at a later date for eight counts each of first-degree sexual assault, sexual abuse by a parent or guardian, and incest.
White told Judge David R. Janes Tuesday that he “did touch his granddaughter inappropriately,” which resulted in the indictment.
