Two male juveniles are being charged with second-degree arson, a felony, for a fire that occurred earlier this month at a sawmill in Rachel.
The state’s Fire Marshal’s Office said because the accused are juveniles, no details about their identities are being released.
On May 5, firefighters from Farmington, Grant Town, Worthington, Barrackville, Hundred, Pleasant Valley, Monongah and Fairview and the Marion County Rescue Squad responded to a blaze that destroyed the old sawmill. Marion County Central Communication said no one was hurt in the fire, which was extinguished by mid afternoon.
