Citizens made their voices heard at the ballot box in Tuesday’s municipal election.
The four mayoral candidates who sought top spot as mayor were former mayor Drexil “Gene” Powell, Councilman Robert “Bob” Garcia, Patrick Moore and Mayor Frank White.
According to unofficial returns from the city clerk’s office, Garcia had 157 votes; White, 139; Powell, 48; and Moore, 29 votes.
