‘Bisons will always have a place for Brogan’

Barrackville School has come out once again to help someone.
Recently, the school’s Y-Teens chapter held a fundraiser for Brogan Raddish, a eighth-grader who attends West Fairmont Middle School. When Brogan was 6, she was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a cancer of the soft tissue, in her left humerus. Although she underwent treatment, the cancer returned in 2004. In 2007 doctors found a spot on her lung. And last summer it returned to the right rib area.
Thursday, Brogan and her mother Marcie visited Barrackville to thank the students for their hard work and donation.
