Two Fairmont residents have been sentenced on drug-related charges

Two Fairmont residents have been sentenced on drug-related charges in the U.S. District Court in Clarksburg in the past two weeks.
According to a press release from U.S. Attorney Sharon L. Potter, 46-year-old Frank Jackson, aka “Action Jackson,” was sentenced to 51 months in prison on May 28 for the distribution of “crack” cocaine in May of 2008 in Marion County.
In January, Jackson pleaded guilty to the charge. He currently is in federal custody. The Three Rivers Drug Task Force, made up of officers from the Fairmont Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, investigated the case.
