A 66-year-old Fairmont man has been arrested and charged with selling cocaine to a confidential informant, police said.
Jerry Lee Fetty, of 314 1/2 Walnut Ave., is also charged with two counts of selling the painkiller hydrocodone, said Fairmont Police Chief Mark Hayes.
The Three Rivers Drug Task Force, made up of officers from the city police department and the Marion Sheriff’s department, arrested Fetty last Friday, the chief said.
According to a police criminal complaint, Fetty’s sale of “two eight balls” of cocaine for $520 was recorded on audio- and videotape. An “eight ball” is one-eighth ounce.
Fetty made the sale on Aug. 8 to an informant working for the task force, Hayes said in a press release.
Fetty is being held on a $60,000 cash only bond at the North Central Regional Jail.
