Leck Regillo recalls years of Army service

MANNINGTON — Imagine living in one town for all 85 years of your life and having the same job for the past 52.

That’s the way things have been for Lester “Leck” Regillo, who says he has had an interesting life in Mannington all these years.

Friends who know him remember the time he spent in the service. And they say in his own way, he has been an “Everyday Hero.”

“They were quite a family,” says Joe Elliott, who knows something about families himself.

That’s the title Leck wears this week as the Times West Virginian’s “Everyday Hero.”
