  <description>After participating in the Mad City Money program on Thursday, freshmen at Fairmont Senior High School gained a new appreciation for their moms and dads and the financial decisions they make.This was the third year that the Marion County Chamber of Commerce and Fairmont Federal Credit Union partnered to offer Mad City Money, an educational budgeting simulation, to freshman students in the county&#8217;s three high schools.</description>

  <description>Tow trucks are on standby to reel in vehicles that were ticketed by police last weekend as part of Phase I of Project Safe Neighborhood.  Lt. Kelley Moran, Fairmont Police, said at least 10 cars parked illegally or abandoned in the Fourth Street area around Walnut Avenue were ticketed so as to warn the owners that if nothing was done, these cars would be towed on Saturday.  </description>
