Vehicle shot on East Grafton Road

Police searching for shooter

FAIRMONT — The Marion County Sheriff's Department and West Virginia State Police are investigating a vehicle shooting that took place on East Grafton Road Friday evening.

According to the Marion County 911 dispatch, the incident was toned at approximately 8:36 p.m. Officials say that the vehicle, a red Mercury Tracer, was shot at least once, with a bullet hole showing on the rear passenger's side door.

Deputies said two people were treated and released by EMS personnel. No arrests have been made at this time.
