If the new year has made you overwhelmed and stressed to the max, doing something as simple as a to-do list can help you take your life back.
A to-do list is a prioritized list of tasks people need to complete, and experts agree that keeping a daily to-do list can help relieve stress.
Crystal Davis, a strategic empowerment specialist at Crystal Clear Solutions, said keeping a to-do list can help people stay focused on what they want to achieve.
Davis said that if people know what they have to do each day, it allows them to see everything that’s on their plate and helps them not forget things.
Davis helps business owners prioritize things they need to get done each day. Having a to-do list at work can help ease people’s minds about the work they have to do.
She tells her clients that to-do lists help them see their personal vision.
“It’s based on their vision, which is their life the way they want to live it instead of the life they think they have to live,” she said.
Having a to-do list at work can help people organize better when they have an overload of tasks. Davis said it feels good to cross something off their list because it
shows them it was completed and they can move on.
