An exhaustive, ongoing investigation surrounding David Tamm, a Fairmont State University employee who has been placed on unpaid administrative leave, has been under way since late January.
On Wednesday, law-enforcement officials were seen outside of a residence on Rosewood Court in Bridgeport. which is believed to be the home of Tamm, according to a report from Connect Bridgeport.
Fairmont State University Police Chief Jack Clayton said that he could not confirm whether or not the home was Tamm’s, but he did confirm that a search warrant was served at the residence.
“I can confirm that we, and the multiple agencies involved, did execute a search warrant in Bridgeport (Wednesday) in connection with an ongoing investigation,” Clayton said.
The FBI and the Bridgeport Police Department were also at the scene.
Officials at FSU have not made any further comments on the investigation.
