FAIRMONT — A Marion County woman has been arrested and charged with three felonies in Harrison County in conjunction with wounds found on her 3-year-old daughter.
Sarah Grogg, 24, moved from Clarksburg to Idamay just three days before deputies charged her this week with three counts of child neglect, Harrison County Sheriff’s Department Lt. of Investigations Pat McCarty said Friday.
According to the complaint filed in Harrison County Magistrate Court, Grogg allegedly failed to take her daughter to the doctor to be treated for a bleeding wound on her tongue and a 103-degree temperature and also did not do anything about burns and bite marks found on the child.
These alleged crimes occurred in Harrison County and Grogg was a Clarksburg resident at the time. She is currently at the North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County on $150,000 bond. Brandon Tennant, a 24-year-old Clarksburg resident, has also been charged with three counts of felony child neglect and three counts of felony child abuse in this incident.
