If you can’t make the weekly Wednesday morning meetings of the Marion County Commission, you have the chance tonight to make up for that.
Four times a year, the commission meets at 7 p.m. to allow daytime workers the chance to see how their county is being run.
“This gives the opportunity for people who couldn’t get there during the day to see what’s going on,” said commission President Randy Elliott.
On tonight’s agenda is a special recognition of the four Marion County high school wrestlers who won state wrestling championships in February in Huntington.
They are Ryan Elliott, North Marion; Anthony Alvaro, Fairmont Senior; and Jesse Roman and Garrett Onderko, East Fairmont.
Also on the agenda:
• request from the Marion County Technical Center DECA for funds to help cover cost for six students going to national competitions.
