The Fairmont Planning Commission held a work session Wednesday to discuss revisions to the planning and zoning code.
The meeting specifically discussed changes made to sections of the code that deal with factory built neighborhoods and mobile home parks.
Kathy Wyrosdick, city planner, proposed changes within the code that would clarify terminology and architectural standards related to specific districts.
Wyrosdick said that the planning and zoning code has been in place since 2006 and that making revisions to reflect changes is necessary for future development.
