Students enrolled in the academic year 2013-14 at Pierpont Community & Technical College will be paying more than students did this year.
During Wednesday’s meeting, the Pierpont Board of Governors approved a motion to increase the education and general tuition fee by 7.51 percent.
Dale Bradley, vice president for finance and administration at Pierpont, told the board the increase was recommended by the finance committee.
“The tuition increase will be $145 per semester for residents and $344 for non-residents,” he said.
