The Korean Conflict has been called “the forgotten war.”
A local group dedicated to remembering those fallen heroes needs some financial help in completing a memorial in their honor.
Loren Jackson, Korean War veteran and representative of Chapter 163 of the Korean War Veterans Association, appeared before the Marion County Commission Wednesday, asking for some donations to help with the memorial it’s building for those veterans.
Veterans have spent the past four years building a memorial to honor those Marion County men and women who served in the Korean War.
