White Hall municipal fee taken off agenda

Mayor: Any future change not likely to be a big increase

WHITE HALL — After months of debate, White Hall’s municipal fee will not change.

During Monday’s meeting, council voted to take the second reading of an ordinance that would raise municipal fees 1,000 percent off the agenda.

First, council had to take the second reading of the ordinance off the table, where it had been since January. The motion to take the second reading off the table passed with council members Arley Hayhurst, Zella Keener, George Abel and Gary Wilson and Mayor Guy Ward voting in favor and councilman Chad Corley and recorder Charlie Mason opposed.
