Representatives from the Marion County Chamber of Commerce and members of the community joined about 1,000 other people from across the state and the country at the Taste of West Virginia event held Tuesday in Washington, D.C.
The event served as an opportunity to showcase foods unique to our state while also providing entertainment and information related to businesses, universities and organizations to those in attendance.
“It was exciting to be a part of something that represented West Virginia so well,” Amy Nuzum, of the MCCC, said. “It was a very positive experience.”
