FAIRMONT — Several resource departments are working together to help better Marion County.

Randall Kocsis, a natural resources police officer for the State of West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Section (WVDNR LES), said his department is working with others in the area to spread the word about burning and littering and the laws that go with them.

“We want the public to know the laws about littering and burning if they don’t know them already,” Kocsis said.

The WVDNR LES is working with other departments such as the Department of Environmental Protection, the Division of Forestry, Marion County Solid Waste Authority and many others to help keep the county safe from dangerous fires and clean from garbage.
