‘Dig Into Reading’ program is available at library

FAIRMONT — Even with school out, kids can still maintain their reading skills thanks to the Marion County Public Library.

A puppet show kicked off the library’s kids’ summer reading program Friday. Librarian Christian Cox preformed his annual puppet show for kids in the program that encourages them read.

“This is my 15th summer program,” he said.

Each summer program has had its own theme, this years theme is “Dig Into Reading.” The program is offered to kids who are entering kindergarten to fifth grade.
