Local municipalities held their candidate filing periods in January.
From Jan. 14-16, residents could file for candidacy. Several residents of Fairview, Farmington, Monongah, Rivesville, White Hall and Worthington came out to add their names to the ballot for the election on June 11.
Fairview has positions open for mayor, recorder and five council seats.
Residents that filed for mayor are incumbent Arley L. Simmons, Don Pyles and Clarence Mathews.
For recorder, Heather Tuttle was the only resident that filed.
