FAIRMONT — A Fairmont man is one of 33 named in indictments handed down by a Marion County grand jury in day two of deliberations.

Adonne Anthony Horton, 36, of 10 Ogden Ave., Fairmont, was indicted on robbery in the first degree, assault during the commission of a felony, retaliation against a witness, retaliation against a public officer, threats of terrorist acts, wanton endangerment involving a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

The charges stem from a shooting July 21, 2011, in the city, in which a bullet apparently hit but did not significantly injure a woman Horton had been charged with beating earlier in the day. He was arrested by Fairmont City Police two days later after being sought by Fairmont Police Department, the United States Marshals Service and the Three River Drug Task Force.
