The Fairmont Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Department had a busy week, with multiple arrests for burglary, grand larceny and more.
Marion County deputies arrested Samuel J. Cutrone, 37, of Fairmont, on charges of unlawful wounding. According to a criminal complaint, Cutrone began displaying aggressive behavior toward a friend while at his house playing “flip cup,” alleging the friend had “stolen his beer.”
Despite being separated, Cutrone reportedly returned to confront the other individual and “pushed him or struck him hard enough to knock him to the ground,” knocking him unconscious.
