Times West Virginian
After more than $16,000 was donated to the Times West Virginian’s annual Gift of Love food drive, it’s time for representatives from local food pantries to pick up their food.
The donated money was used to purchase food Wednesday at Save-A-Lot in White Hall. Rich Poff, store manager, and his staff sorted and placed the food on several pallets.
Representatives from area food pantries will be able to pick up their food at the Times West Virginian office today. Agencies will get their food at the back dock as they have in the past.
Along with the food purchased Wednesday, food has been provided by residents of Marion County.
