The Marion County Sheriff’s Department made several arrests this week for alleged drug sales.
On Friday, deputies arrested Joshua S. Schiappa, 26, of 1103 Carleton St., Fairmont, on charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana. According to criminal complaints, a search warrant was executed at Schiappa’s residence Friday as part of an ongoing investigation.
Deputies reportedly found two bags of marijuana, the combined total weighing about 35 grams, as well as digital scales in Schiappa’s bedroom. Possession of more than 15 grams of marijuana constitutes a felony by state law.
