Needs of Monongah are being prioritized

Program Advancing Community Employment meeting set Wednesday

FAIRMONT — Monongah is getting closer to providing jobs and improving the community.

The Program Advancing Community Employment (PACE) Project is moving forward in its initiative to create new jobs in Monongah as well as meet the needs of the residents.

Caprice Doty and Mary Sinisi are on the Community Employment Board (CEB) for the PACE Project and said it has been moving quickly.

“We have progressed quite quickly from a very small group to a very nice-sized group of very concerned citizens in Monongah,” Doty said.
