From noon to 1 p.m. this Thursday, prayers will be singing out from the courthouse steps in downtown Fairmont.
That is the annual National Day of Prayer, held on the first Thursday in May, an event in which Fairmont has participated for many years.
And you are invited to join the nonstop, round robin of prayer.
“People are lined up to pray specifically for every area of government from the president to the Senate and Supreme Court, to the national, state and local government, the court system, military, businesses, law enforcement, first responders, churches and families,” said organizer Kandi Nuzum.
