Arraignments set for Washington, Bush

FAIRMONT — Arraignments have been set for Eddie Jack Washington and Phillip Reese Bush, who have been indicted for the 1974 triple Windmill Park homicides in Fairmont.

Washington will be arraigned at 2:15 p.m. Monday, March 4, and Bush at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, both before Circuit Judge Michael Aloi.

Washington is currently lodged at the North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County. Bush is an inmate at Mount Olive Correctional Complex, serving two life sentences for double homicides in Fairmont in 1982.

Sources at Mount Olive have confirmed orders have been received to transport Bush to Fairmont next week.

Washington was arrested Feb. 7 in Tampa, Fla. Both were indicted Friday, Feb. 22, on the triple murders.
