FAIRMONT — Amanda Jo Barker, 31, of Mannington, pleaded guilty to three counts involving sexual misconduct with a minor in Marion County District Court on Wednesday morning, the result of a plea bargain struck with the Marion County Prosecutor’s office.

The charges include two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian and one count of soliciting a minor by computer. Each count involves a separate, juvenile victim, according to information presented by Marion County Prosecutor Pat Wilson.

Barker, a former freshman cheerleading coach at North Marion High School, will return to Judge David R. Janes’ courtroom for sentencing in about two months following a pre-sentencing investigation that should take around 45 days.
