March has a habit of coming in with a bang and a bluster, spitting rain and snow and all manner of bad weather out of the skies.
It also, despite these unlikeable traits, marks the start of baseball season, a sport as associated with spring as it gets.
The City of Pleasant Valley is looking forward to the start of spring and the opening of a new baseball field to usher in new opportunities for neighborhood kids and the community to enjoy the coming pleasant days.
“Now that March is on our doorstep, hopefully everything will come together,” said Mayor Barbara Metcalfe.
