FAIRMONT — A Farmington man has been arrested by West Virginia State Police on two counts of second-degree sexual assault.

According to the criminal complaint filed at the Marion County Magistrate Court, Andrew Carter Plachta, 19, of 96 Bessie Ann Hill Road, was arrested Sept. 24 for the alleged assault on two Marion County teens.

The complaint asserts that Plachta drove to the Bellview area of Fairmont on Sept. 9, 2013, and met with the two 15-year-old female victims. They allegedly “willingly left” with him and returned to his residence.

There, aware of their age, he gave them alcoholic drinks, and “knowingly and willingly” had physical relations with them.
