Two ejected in Route 250 accident

‘Responsive’ patients flown by HealthNet to Ruby Memorial Hospital

FARMINGTON — A single-vehicle accident on U.S. 250 Friday afternoon sent the car’s two passengers to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Deputy Erdie of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department said the vehicle was traveling south on U.S. 250 when the driver lost control at about 1:30 p.m.

At 1:40 p.m., rescue workers were dispatched to the scene of the accident. In addition to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and Marion County Rescue Squad, the Mannington and Farmington Volunteer Fire Departments also responded.
