The process of repairing roads in Mannington has begun, and major projects are in place.
Mayor Jim Taylor said the city has been blacktopping and patching roads throughout the summer that needed attention, but weather has held them back a bit when trying to reach every area that needs repaired.
“That will continue on to areas that we know need attention,” he said. “We ask that citizens please be patient with us because we will get to you.”
Taylor said the city has prioritized which roads get worked on and when by how bad of a condition they’re in.
