The Little General Convenience Store on U.S. 250 in White Hall was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money early Sunday.
According to White Hall police chief Geno Guerrieri, the robbery took place shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday.
“We have not arrested anyone yet,” he said.
The suspect is described as a stocky white male about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing a green Carhartt hooded jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, black ski mask and black gloves.
“The subject pulled into the lot and sat in front for about 2 1/2 minutes,” Guerrieri said. “He left the lot and went down the road. He came back and parked his vehicle in front of the door.”
He entered the store with a black pistol, “possibly a Glock,” in his waistband, Guerrieri said.
The suspect demanded cash from the clerk and made off with an undisclosed amount of money in a white, two-door Oldsmobile Alero with aluminum wheels, and headed south on U.S. 250.
