Fairmont man faces charges

FAIRMONT — A Marion County man was arrested Dec. 3 by Fairmont police on three felony charges.

According to the criminal complaint filed at the Marion County Magistrate Court, Robert Logan Michael, 23, of 1010 Kimberly Circle, Fairmont, was charged with nighttime burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony and grand larceny from a Nov. 30 incident.

Michael allegedly stole a television and Xbox from a Fairmont residence. He and a second person took the items to a residence on Locust Avenue. He returned to the first residence two more times, taking about $1,650 in cash or coins.

The complaint was based on statements made by accessories after the fact, victims and witnesses.

Michael is lodged at the North Central Regional Jail on $75,000 bond, or $25,000 for each charge.

Conspiracy to commit a felony carries a possible penalty of 1-5 years in a state correctional facility; burglary, one to 15 years; and grand larceny, one to 10 years, plus fines.
