Mayors, recorders and council members were sworn in this week for two-year terms around the state, including in seven municipalities in Marion County.
Donna Costello will be returning for her third, and last, term as mayor of the Town of Farmington.
“We just want to keep Farmington moving forward,” Costello said. “This is going to be my last term, but there have been some projects in the works and I want to see those through.”
Costello said one goal she and council will be working toward is acquiring the Little Laurel Run water system. Only one council member, Stephanie Jones Cummons, is returning from the previous term.
