LUMBERPORT — According to Consol Energy, rescue teams have located the missing Robinson Run employee inside a bulldozer, a local media outlet reports.
According to WBOY, a series of pipe dives was completed by dive and rescue teams over the weekend in effort to find the bulldozer which was buried after a refuse embankment gave way on Nov. 30. This morning, crews were able to cut an opening in the top of the bulldozer where they confirmed the employee's body inside.
Consol doesn't have an estimated time of how long it will take to recover the employee's body.
MSHA, the W.Va. Department of Mine, Consol Energy and other agencies are investigating the cause of the accident.
