Relax and refocus

Take some simple steps to beat effects of stress

FAIRMONT — Life may seem very stressful, but by simply relaxing the stress can fade away.

Cheri Satterfield, owner of Tuscan Sun Spa and Salon, remembers when she was going through a stressful time and how just getting a massage helped her relax and refocus.

“I was going through a really high-stressed time and someone told me to go get a massage,” she said. “After the massage I was so relaxed, you just let down and loosen up.”

Working at Tuscan Sun Spa, Satterfield said that she notices how better people feel after getting a massage, pedicure, manicure or even something as simple as a new haircut. She said taking time to treat yourself can make a big difference in the way you feel.
