FAIRMONT — The City of Fairmont’s Fire Department will soon benefit from a new fire engine.

At Tuesday’s city council meeting, council adopted a resolution for the lease-purchase of a 2013 Pierce Responder 1250 GPM pumper.

“Since the pump can’t pass a pump test, we have to replace it immediately,” Emerick said.
