Horton pushes Polar Bears to 13-3

FAIRMONT — Fairmont Senior High School’s Travon Horton had a week to remember for the Polar Bears.

Against Bridgeport, Horton helped pace FSHS past the Indians, dropping 30 points. Then, in the next game against East Fairmont, Horton scored 12.

His 12 points against East pushed his career total over 1,000 career points.

With his leadership qualities and ability of scoring, he helped improve Fairmont Senior to 13-3.

For his efforts, Horton is the latest Times West Virginian Multi-Media Good Sports Player of the Week.

The Polar Bears will try to extend their winning streak Tuesday when they host Robert C. Byrd.
