Susan Louise (Piscitelli) Hevener, 67, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, formerly of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (Sept. 29, 2007) at her home with her family and friends.
She was born Nov. 10, 1939, in Fairmont, daughter of the late James V. Piscitelli and Adeline Piscitelli of Fairmont.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Piscitelli, who died in 1991.
She graduated from West Fairmont Senior High School and attended Fairmont State College. She previously worked as a manager of Brookevale Wholesale Stores, in Monessen, Pa. for seven years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Roland C. Hevener of Mingo Junction; and her five children, Kathy M. Getz of Morgantown, Joseph W. Pyles of Toronto, Ohio, Jacqueline M. Mounts of Crawfordsville, Fla., James M. Pyles of Whitehall, and Mark F. Pyles of Mingo Junction; and six grandchildren, Trevor Getz of Morgantown, Carl Pyles of Florida, Mary and Michael Mounts of Crawfordsville, Fla., Rebecca (Pyles) Toller of Fairmont and David Pyles of Whitehall.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, decorating and especially the love of her family. Everyone that knew her loved her for her beautiful smile and gentle and loving personality.
In lieu of flowers, condolences can be sent to the family at 128 Parr Ave., Mingo Junction, Ohio 43938. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, Mingo Junction, Ohio.
