Doris “Jean” (Little) Kisner, age 83, of Rt. 3, Bridgeport, passed away Thursday (Dec. 12, 2013), at her residence.
She was born April 19, 1930, in Boothsville, the daughter of the late Denzil Ira and Annie Viola (Knight) Little.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Ronald Kisner; four sons, Stephen R. Kisner and Mark D. Kisner both of Bridgeport, Arlie S. Kisner and wife Pam of Grafton and Barry A. Kisner also of Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Mark D. Kisner Jr., April Renee Swiger, Joe Nester and John Ball; five great-grandchildren, Mark D. Kisner III, Dylan M. Kisner, Cody E. Swiger, Gavin J. Wright and Cole P. Ball; two brothers, Paul Luther Little and Gary Dale Little, both of Bridgeport; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters-in-law, Joyce Ann Kisner and Nancy L. Kisner.
Jean was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister to her family. She enjoyed yard work, cooking, traveling in the mountains, her family and her friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Jon Stitzel and Pastor Tim Amunson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Harmony Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Ronald Kisner.
